Personal Mission Statement

My mission is to inspire and empower through creativity, communication, and leadership. I am a digital media guru specializing in web design, print/digital graphic design, and social media strategy. I also have experience in audio/video production, email marketing, business leadership, and event photography. I am passionate about environmental stewardship, higher education, citizen science, youth engagement, and climate justice.

Since October 2022, I have been the content creator of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X. In my first year running these accounts, I grew the audience size overall by 20% (including an increase of the Instagram audience by 50%) and increased engagement, especially with reels and videos.

Instagram Reel: “Wes Anderson” trend, highlighting the Wildflower Center in the Spring. This reel is the highest viewed and engaged post of all time from the Wildflower Center with more than 53,000 views and 300 shares.

In February 2018, I became the content creator of the Eco Centro Facebook page, which had roughly 500 Facebook Likes at the time. By the time I left Eco Centro in June 2022, I had organically grown the page to 6105 Facebook Likes (and counting!) with approximately 30,000 page/post views and 6,000 engagements a month.
