Dyhanara Rios

Welcome to my website! I’m Dyhanara “Dy” Rios. My mission is to inspire and empower through creativity, communication, and leadership.

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media and Mass Communications, combining my passion for the environment and digital media in my studies, career, and writing. I use my skills in digital media design, event planning, social media strategy, and public relations for my career and for volunteer organizations. I am the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) at The University of Texas at Austin.

My creative work revolves around themes of nature, friendship, and love.  My first album “Sing to the Sea – EP” is available on all major music streaming platforms. I compete in poetry slam competitions and my poetry is published in numerous anthologies.
